History comes from people made by people and is what the people and their choices are. So if you just refuse to learn from it, it has failed to serve its purpose. FAILED TO TEACH. If the whole class fails in exam (not just one or two) than there certainly lies some incompetency with teacher ;). Still keep reading and replying. I could come under the aegis of Osho and his vibrant mission only in his last days :(. Another notable leader was JD Krishnamurti. But his intellectual talks went futile due to his over-seriousness. "...my talks were taken more as entertainment rather than teaching..." were some of his(JD) last depressing comments. However I was blessed to be guided under the direct and early followers of Osho in Mysore. They completely transformed me from the dictatorial ideologies to the no nonsense freedom ones. Perhaps because they ingrained one of very important mantra in me which Osho gave to us : "... the biggest disease of society is follower-ship, lest it be of anyone, Buddha, Jesus or even me... the biggest truth I want to reveal to humanity is that they shall be free only when they shall be free from clutches of all these bondages... that's the sole reason why all these messiahs came to world, to teach people that they are free by birth... however people started bondages in the name of these messiahs itself failing the whole agenda of theirs... so don't at least start any such follower-ship in my name... else the whole mission shall fail". However I do understand the beginning steps are too overwhelming. It will be good to have some companions to seek guidance and share experiences with, until you are free to walk on your own. Two Masters attracted and still atract me to the point of wanting to follow their teachings: Gurdjieff and Osho. Both are not in this world anymore and finding someone who could guide me among their followers is not easy. Personnaly, books are not enough. I need a guide. That I watched on a video from his personal doctor annoucing the death of Osho to his disciples. He had tears in his eyes. He was present by his side when Osho breath his last breath. His doctor wanted to call for an ambulance cause Osho was really in bad shape, but Osho knowing that his time has arrived uttered these last words. What a great men!
