I really appreciate your noble concern for our country. But I have serious doubt regarding creation of new Fed type agency. A recent report in TOI suggested that there is already acute shortage in police staff itself. Similar funding and work force crunch is faced by STF, CBI, CID, RAW and now even army is coming under its influence. Then what use will be the new agency will be. Sans men sans weapon. In my view better would strengthening and disciplining the existing force and better coordination among pre-existing agencies..

Sad situation. There was some talk of a federal agency to tackle terrorism. Advani was blaming Congress for all this, and then the reporter asked him about Sadhwi Pragya… (Times Now) They are all the same. The Federal agency is a good idea, I am against unlimited powers to any investigating agency because then they will catch just anybody and get a confession/or not get a confession. Our Police has not got a good record of integrity.
